The table

The table

The Moroccan cooking of the house, made here every day: the morning bread, the afternoon pastries, the evening tagine. The menu changes with the Marrakech market, and the cooking classes are taken with the mother of the house.

Learning the tagine with the mother of the house

We start at the neighbourhood market to choose the vegetables, the meat and the herbs. We come back, set the low table in the kitchen, and cook side by side: bread, cooked salads, tagine, mint tea poured from on high.

About three hours, in French, Arabic or English. Then we eat what you have made, up on the roof. You leave with the recipes.

Dining differently

Private dinner on the roof

A table set facing the minarets, lanterns and candles, a menu put together with you. For a birthday, a proposal or simply a last evening. To be booked 24 hrs ahead.

Méchoui and gnaoua evening

A nomad tent pitched in the patio, slow-cooked lamb, gnaoua musicians and henna designs. From eight guests, on request, 48 hrs ahead.

Table d’hôtes

One evening a week, all the guests dine together around the same menu, in the patio. The best way to get to know the house. Sign up at the front desk.

Picnic to take away

For the Ourika or a day in the Atlas: homemade bread, salads, msemen, fruit and hot tea prepared in the morning. To be ordered the day before.

Diets and allergies: tell us, and we cook differently

Vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, halal, allergies: let us know when you book and the kitchen adapts, without making you a special case. Children get their own, less spicy version.
